What's an "MT4/MT5 trading platform"?
MT4 was specifically built for forex traders, whereas MT5 was designed to provide traders with access to CFDs, stocks, and futures. Both provide pioneering automated trading systems with expert advisors. However, they each serve a very different function.

Personas.
Storyboard & Pain Points.
Pain Points.
The current system is hard for users to compare similar financial products.
The current system has no additional information (such as financial news or current affairs) making it hard to make decisions without using additional platforms for information.
Since the European market ends at midnight, many users have eyestrain looking at the system due to the UI.
Design solves problems.
There are a few things to redesign.
Add the Chart Grids
Solve the pain points that users need to open multi-browser web pages, allowing users to customize their own Forex pages to achieve an efficient browsing experience.
Built a Dark mode
A solid black background reduces visual noise and improves the legibility of text, and helps users focus on their work.
Space maximization.
Redesigned the forex list, adding a button for storing detailed information, so that users can see more main information lists.
Add the Notification.
Provide users with real-time news through the "Notification" prompt information, let users know the daily market trend and the timing of opening/closing positions.
Future iteration.
More Brand identity.
When discussing with Stakeholders, they came up with an opinion on whether users can recognize the brand's system at a glance through the functional design.
Easily readable.
The reading Notification page section is less attractive but simple. To increase the interaction of user reading activity, Graph analysis and Economic calendars are designed to navigate users to linger over in their own reading process.
