Imagine walking down the stairs and falling because you can’t see the steps, or electrocuting yourself while you are washing your hands. Designing without having an understanding of the problem you are trying to solve will only backfire on you and the users you are trying to help. Anyone can create a design, but creating a good design will require experience in problem solving and a designer's mindset.
I had an interest in art since I was young, and liked to use art to help people express their emotions and feelings, but wanted to do more. When I was in college, I took an UI/UX workshop course and learned how art and design can help people solve problems, thus introducing me to the career path as an UI and UX designer.
To help users find and solve issues, I think design thinking requires knowledge in multiple fields. This is why I choose to study courses in brand marketing and additional courses in 3D animation and graphic design. In addition to my degree, I also learned different design tools and skills (such as HTML, CSS, AE, Maya, and Unity) on my own, so that I can choose the best tools required to create projects and products. In my free time, I love reading articles and news about design trends. Not only is it interesting to me, it also helps me to stay up to date and to be flexible in my designs.
I have been working as an UI/UX designer for the past 4+ years. As an UI/UX designer, I have helped companies create valuable products for both B2B and B2C. I have experience in creating products in the financial, educational, and medical sectors. Some examples of products I have designed in the medical and educational sectors include an order management system for a medical company, and an educational platform for doctors. In addition, I have also designed RWD websites, design systems, backend systems, and APP for companies in the financial sector. I’m looking forward to working together to create products and designs that can change the world!
