Building a Design System.
I managed ATFX's creation of the Design System at ATFX to improve our product design process, manifest our design principles, and provide our customers with usable, accessible, beautiful software that personifies their service to the users.

My Role.
I pitched, planned, and managed the Design System, and worked with a team of 2 designers to envision and design the system.
I took advantage of my own superpowers of reading and taking in a bunch of information to understand how other companies approach to solve the problem and how we can make it happen as a small team.

Imagine product consistency.
All design teams at my organization were working off their own versions of a style guide or component library. This was leading to inefficiencies in development work, discrepancies between visual design among products, and a lack of clarity on the brand for new team members within different functions in the organization.

Results.
This design system was meant to do more than be a simple style guide or components library. When developed, this guide will deliver efficiencies among product, design, and development teams across the organization, and enhance the customer experience.
